We are thrilled that you are considering The Parke at Trinity Apartment Homes as your new home! As a community dedicated to providing an exceptional experience, we believe in complete transparency, especially when it comes to utility charges. We want you to feel confident and informed about how this process works. This page is designed to help you better understand our utility charge system.

What are Utility Charges?

Utility charges cover the costs of essential services that keep our community running smoothly. These services include water, sewer, trash removal, and other shared amenities. Because utility charges are based on individual usage and can vary each month, they are billed separately from your rent.

How are Utility Charges Calculated?

Water: Your water usage is measured using individual water meters installed in each apartment. You’ll only pay for the water you use, as recorded by the meter. Regular meter readings ensure accurate billing.

Sewer: Sewer charges are typically a percentage of your water usage since most of the water consumed returns as wastewater. The percentage is determined by local regulations and may change as required.

Trash Removal: We believe in maintaining a clean and eco-friendly environment. The cost of trash removal is shared equally among all residents, so we can all contribute to keeping our community beautiful.

How and When Will You Be Billed?

Your utility charges will appear on separate line items in your monthly statement. This statement will be sent monthly, making it easy to see the breakdown of each charge.

The Parke at Trinity Apartment Homes Billing Cycle

Our billing cycle runs from the 1st to the last day of each month. You’ll receive your monthly statement by the 5th of the following month, giving you ample time to plan your budget. The payment for utility charges is due along with your rent on the specified due date.

Allocated and submetered utilities are billed anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks in arrears, depending on the utility provider meter read cycle. Each month, you’ll receive a statement that includes your rent charges as well as all allocated and/or submetered charges for your home, The date range (service period) for these charges will be clearly displayed on this statement. Dates of service can vary  during any given service period, but is approximately 30 days.

Monitoring Your Usage

We want to help you manage your utility expenses effectively, so we encourage you to:

Be Mindful: You can make a difference! Be mindful of your water usage, turn off faucets when not needed, and report any leaks promptly.

Energy-Efficiency: Consider using energy-efficient appliances and light bulbs to keep your electricity usage in check.

Let Us Know: Our maintenance team is here to help. If you notice any water leaks or plumbing issues, let us know so we can address them promptly.
